XV. οἱ δ’ ἐπὶ Ῥώμης ἤκμαζον, ὧν ἡγεῖτο Φλωρῖνος, πρεαβυτερίου τῆς ἐκκλησίας ἀποπεσών , Βλάστος τε σὺν τούτῳ, παραπλησίῳ πτώματι κατεσχημένος· οἳ καὶ πλείους τῆς ἐκ· περιέλκοντες ἐπὶ τὸ ἁφῶν ὑπῆγον βούλημα, θάτερος ἰδίως περὶ τὴν ἀλήθειαν νεωτερίξειν πειρώμενος.
XV. Others flourished in Rome, of whom Florinus was the leader. He had been turned out of the presbytery of the church, and with him was Blastus, who had suffered a similar fall. These drew away more of the church and brought them to their own opinion, each trying in his own way to introduce innovations about the truth.
